Please join us for the qathet Studio Tour next weekend, August 24 and 25, between 10 am and 4 pm each day! We are site 18, and we're looking forward to showing you both what our members can do and what we're all about!

We will have artists-in-residence doing pottery, weaving, spinning, and quilting at various points throughout the weekend. There will also be some members selling their art in our parking lot - consider it a preview for our ever-popular Holiday Sale in November! So stop by for a visit as you make your way through the many artist studios in our region - we're looking forward to visiting with you!

We're starting to get ready for our annual Holiday Sale! This year, the sale will be held on:

• Friday, November 24 from 12-8pm
• Saturday, November 25 from 10am-4pm
• Sunday, November 26 from 12-4pm

We're going to have lots of great pottery and ceramics, weaving, knitting, crochet, quilting, and sewn items for sale to help enhance your home and wardrobe or to make wonderful gifts for the people in your lives!

Members, check your email for an opportunity to volunteer for pre-sale tasks to make the sale a success, and keep an eye on your inbox in early November for the sale shift sign-up!

The 2023/24 membership year has started! Currently fees can only be accepted at the building by cash or cheque. Annual dues are $110. The registration station is in the kitchen, on the computer counter to the left of the printer. Here's how to register:

1. Fill out a membership form. Your membership will not be processed without a complete membership form.
2. Add your payment to the payment (blue) book under Memberships.
3. Fill out a receipt for your payment and get it signed by another member. Make sure that your membership form number and your receipt number match! (see below)
4. Put your payment in the cash box in the kitchen closet. If your payment is cash, put it in an envelope (box is at the registration station), seal it, and write your name and "Membership $110" on the front of the envelope before putting it in the cash box. Cheques do not need an envelope.
