The TFAA is not the only artist collective on the upper Sunshine Coast, and there are lots of stores and artisans where supplies can be sourced.

Artisan Organizations

• Malaspina Arts Society - operates the Malaspina Exhibition Centre at Vancouver Island University (VIU).
• Powell River Council for Arts and Culture - operates the Arts Centre qathet Public Gallery above the library.
• Artique - cooperative gallery at Alberni and Marine.
• Tidal Art Centre - workshop and residency facility in Lund.

Supplies and Tools

• qathet art + wares - paper, pen, paint, and ink supplies.
• Knitter's Nest - yarn, knitting and crochet accessories, and independent dyed yarn.
• Great Balls of Wool - yarn, knitting and crochet accessories, second location in Lund as of 1 December 2021.
• Knitpickers Yarn Shop - yarn, knitting and crochet accessories, located south of Powell River.
• eunoia - felting supplies, threads, and other fabricwork supplies.
• Spools End - fabric and quilting supply store.​
